WGCU to Interview FLCGA and Rep. Carlos Guillermo Smith today at 2 pm ET
WGCU, the PBS and NPR outlet for Southwest Florida, is slated to interview Rep. Carlos Guillermo Smith (D – District 49) and Michael Barfield, Director of Public Access Initiatives at FLCGA. The interview will cover the recent announcement by FLCGA that their legal battle over the release of COVID-19 records by Department of Health has ended. In the settlement agreement, The Department must publish detailed COVID-19 data on its website and pay $152,250 in legal fees to attorneys representing FLCGA and Rep. Smith.
